I.R.I.S., a company specialized in intelligent document recognition and enterprise content management, has announced that it has decided to expand its activities on the Nordic markets.
The company entered the Nordic market in 2008 under the name Morningstar, providing document management software for legal practices and corporate law departments. The company is now looking for new partners for distribution and implementation in order to expand its offering of products and services in the region. I.R.I.S.’s Optical Character Recognition software is embedded in all HP scanners as well as other computer appliances. The company offers one of the largest document capture platforms which serves organizations from the private and public sectors through scanning and generation of digital documents in many formats, as well as identification and sorting of incoming mail, invoices and other types of documents. The company also provides independent advice and implementation capabilities in the Nordic markets, combined with scanning solutions and ECM products. It will also continue to offer add-on modules for the Open Text ECM Suite and for Documentum, as well as invoice processing with SAP, digital mailroom and its in-house developed I.R.I.S. DocCenter Suite.
