I.R.I.S. has been awarded the contract for the supply of software and services to implement ECM solutions at the Belgian national railway company SNCB. The agreement is for four years and will cover the acquisition of software applications for ECM projects, as well as consultancy, training and maintenance during the implementation of ECM projects.
The proposed services cover project management, organizational consultancy, process analysis and design, document analysis, architecture and design of solutions, software configuration, integration of solutions and documentation. Yves Alsteens, Sales Manager I.R.I.S. Solutions & Experts, said that the company has highlighted three aspects for the success of SNCB projects: - Organizing documents and guiding change management - Documentary information, control of glossaries and records retention schedules - Documentary data processing. Etienne Van de Kerckhove, CEO of I.R.I.S. Group: ‘This four-year framework agreement must be one of the biggest electronic document and process management contracts in Europe. The SNCB is the largest employer in Belgium, with more than 60,000 employees.
