Parascript, LLC, a provider of Boulder-based image analysis and pattern recognition technology, has announced that it will hold the 8th Annual Children’s Art Exhibition on May 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Parascript’s offices in Suite 200, 6899 Winchester Circle in Boulder. The event will be open to the public.

The proceeds from the event will go to Voices For Children CASA. The organization is dedicated to training volunteers as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs). CASAs provide services to child victims of neglect and abuse.  Artwork from children of Parascript employees will be showcased alongside artwork of children involved with Voices For Children CASA. “Voices For Children CASA is very grateful for the continued generous support of Parascript in our effort to provide maltreated children with safe environments and bright futures,” said Marsha Caplan, executive director for Voices For Children CASA.  “We are also very excited about the update to the program, and are proud that our kids’ talents will be recognized. Participating in the art show is a unique and wonderful opportunity, and our kids are looking forward to it.”
Donations can be made by attendees directly, or by purchasing items at the art show. The items include CASA bracelets as well as cards featuring the children’s artwork.  Parascript will match the proceeds as part of its corporate efforts on supporting local communities. The Parascript Foundation, established in 1999, has granted over $28,000 to local non-profit organizations, such as Parenting Place, Healing Circles, Imagine!, Access Counseling, YWCA Boulder County, and others. “At Parascript we have enjoyed hosting and displaying the work of young talents for the past eight years. Children’s artwork is captivating because of its honesty and the joyful view of the world it expresses. Expanding the art show means giving more children a chance to see their work displayed and appreciated,” said Jeff Gilb, president and CEO for Parascript.  “We are also privileged to once again show our support to the Voices For Children CASA organization and the important work it does.”
