Sandvik Mining and Construction GmbH has chosen ReadSoft's software to automate invoice processing. The solution will be processing about 40,000 invoices annually at Sandvik's service center in Zeltweg, Austria.

            Before using Readsoft’s solution, Sandvik had to handle manually all invoice registration, allocation, and approval. This was a tough task because projects in construction take long, and a large number of partial invoices from various countries had to be paid. Due to the manual handling, as well as the complexity of the process, there were often delays. Now each invoice with a purchase order reference will be processed automatically.
            Another advantage of using the solution from ReadSoft is the electronic workflow which allows online approval of the invoices. This workflow was configured in a way that it would fit Sandvik's approval process. "It was important for us that the application resides inside SAP. The ReadSoft solution was the most technically advanced product," says Werner Tiefengraber, project manager at Sandvik Mining and Construction in Austria. "We evaluated other software solutions, but they had many process steps outside of SAP which would require a separate database."
