I.R.I.S. has signed an agreement with the Belgian Federal Public Service Economy to implement the IRISNext Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system. I.R.I.S. will also develop a dynamic website for the ministry.
The Federal Public Service Economy monitors the economic regulations in Belgium. It also facilitates resolution of disputes. In this way, it ensures that the rules established in the public interest are complied with. The FPS Economy enables commercial disputes to be resolved through an extrajudicial mediator, thus also relieving the judiciary. The FPS Economy needs to build an electronic platform which will be available for market participants. I.R.I.S. will develop a dynamic website for consumers. The website will not only make information available for the consumers, but it will also include interactive sections to provide access to applications for submitting of disputes and their tracking. I.R.I.S. will also install IRISNext for content management, which will enable business owners and mediators to provide the general public with information, as well as to monitor the consumer requests. The content management system will additionally allow files related to disputes to be made available for the various parties concerned. Implementing the IRISNext Enterprise Content Management system will help for the resolution of conflicts in a non-judicial manner. It will also provide the consumers with direct access to information and enable them to easily initiate and follow through disputes. Etienne Van de Kerckhove, CEO of I.R.I.S. says: “Once again we’ve been selected by a government administration. This is a clear sign of trust in the capacities of I.R.I.S. and all people who form this company. Needless to say we are proud of this and will put in every effort to make this project another success!” Related Articles:
