Advanced Document Imaging, LLC (ADI) and Parascript, LLC have performed quality assurance testing, using combined technologies, for the U.S. Census Bureau for electronic data capture in the 2010 Census.
The partnership will help the Census Bureau ensure improved accuracy of data from census forms. ADI and Parascript deliver an assurance program which validates the accuracy of the capture process of the census data.
ADI has developed a PDQ (Production Data Quality) test system which evaluates data capture production output quality and reports the results to the Census Bureau. The system uses Parascript’s FormXtra. “Working with the U.S. Census Bureau for over 16 years, we have developed a powerful software tool to quickly accomplish the difficult, costly, and time-consuming task of testing the quality of production data with very high precision and at a low cost,” said K. Bradley Paxton, Ph.D., CEO for ADI, LLC. “Our partnership with Parascript has proven invaluable in completing this task.”
“We are honored to work with ADI to make our recognition technology available to all those who benefit from reduced processing times and cost savings, especially in such important applications as the 2010 Census,” said Brian Ball, vice president for Parascript.
FormXtra enables integrators to identify and tune fields on forms for improved recognition accuracy. The solution recognizes hand print, machine print, and handwriting.
