An electronics manufacturer from Germany has selected ReadSoft’s system for automating accounts payable processes to be implemented in their existing SAP (System and Application Products) system. ReadSoft’s solution is soon to be implemented in all the company’s organizations in Europe, Asia and North America.

Typically for large organizations, the German electronics company was searching for a way to increase efficiency as well as reduce costs. Using the software from ReadSoft software, the company will be able to make savings and have faster effective accounts payable processes.

The electronics company will be automating the incoming invoices, using ReadSoft’s software, which automatically captures information from invoices. The software has the ability to capture information from invoices either on paper or in electronic form. The company’s invoices will be matched with existing purchase orders in SAP automatically. In case there is a match, these invoices will be posted for payment. If it turns out that there is no purchase order, the invoices will be sent for approval.

“We are very pleased to be selected as the supplier to automate accounts payable processes for this customer. It is the first step in what we hope will develop into a delivery of our new PROCESS DIRECTOR technology for automating other processes as well,” comments Jan Andersson, CEO at ReadSoft.
