Gemini Corporation has contracted I.R.I.S. to deliver an invoice processing solution, which is based on IRISPowerscan and IRISXtract for Documents.
Gemini Corporation NV is a multi-national company based in Belgium. Until now, the company had to process their incoming invoices manually. Gothal Shailesh, CTO of Gemini Corporation, says: “We wanted to improve the incoming invoice process by automating it. The purpose is to reduce costs by setting up a centralised shared service, decreasing handling and processing time, and improving the search and consultation of invoices afterwards. Key aspects for us are digitisation, automatic data extraction and integration with SharePoint® with approval workflows and all of this in a secure and fast way.”

The company is looking for a way to extract container numbers from the invoices, which will make the tracking of the containers significantly easier. They are looking for a centralized solution, which will unify the payment processes from the company’s offices all over the world.

I.R.I.S. will deploy a solution based on IRISPowerscan and IRISXtract which will digitize the paper invoices and enable data extraction and validation.
