MEDRAD partners with Nuance to deliver the first interoperability solution for automating documentation of CT contrast-injection data by connecting the MEDRAD Certegra informatics platform and Nuance PowerScribe 360 Reporting. The installation debut will occur at the New York Mt. Sinai Medical Center (MSMC).

As a result of the partnership with MEDRAD, customers of Nuance can auto-populate contrast-injection records into a radiology reporting system. In this way they can eliminate look-ups and dictation of contrast-injection records and drive better accuracy and consistency of documentation. “MEDRAD and Nuance have taken a significant step forward in enabling transparent and automated transfer of IV contrast-administration information in radiology,” said David S.
