CVISION Technologies Inc., provider of document capture and recognition software, will deliver its OCR solution to an international university to improve the accessibility of its image documents.

The university, which is based in China, will be using Maestro Recognition Server for the processing of large volumes of pages.


Currently, the university has a very large number of documents that have been scanned to TIFF. As the TIFF format is not searchable, and it is difficult to locate information, so the university decided to go for an OCR solution that could convert large volumes of documents. The final choice was the Maestro Recognition Server from CVISION.
