Accusoft Pegasus has announced the release of ImagXpress Version 10 for 64-bit ActiveX support. The ImagXpress v10 SDK can be used for developing software applications which target both 32 and 64-bit Windows architectures.
At the same time, Accusoft Pegasus is releasing ISIS Xpress v4 ActiveX, which provides support for the latest scanner drivers. “Our ActiveX customers are generally building performance-sensitive applications. Offering 64-bit versions of our ImagXpress ActiveX components just makes sense,” says Susan Gorman, program manager at Accusoft Pegasus. “With this release, our customers have the ability to leverage 64-bit architectures using ActiveX and .NET components to deliver faster, more powerful application software.” ImagXpress is designed for image scanning, viewing, compression, annotating, cleanup, and printing. It is supported in both 32-bit and 64-bit ActiveX and .NET environments. The new features offered in the SDK include support for the TWAIN 2.0 scanning specification, automatic binarization function, as well as support for more Camera RAW formats. Features such as document image cleanup, support for advanced file formats, and annotation support, are only featured in the Professional edition.
