ABBYY FlexiCapture Engine 8.0 was awarded with the prize for Recognition/Data Capture Product of the Year at the Document Manager Awards in London on October 22nd, 2009.  Document Manager is a publication dedicated to document management, content management, and e-business solutions.

          The DM Awards were held for the third time in 2009, and are an important event across document management professionals, as well as an opportunity to highlight the major projects of the year. The event gathered representatives from companies all over Europe and the USA.
           ABBYY FlexiCapture Engine 8.0 is a software development kit (SDK) for integrating data extraction, document classification, indexing and PDF conversion in Windows-based applications. It is a comprehensive data capture solution which combines technologies for form-processing, data verification and classification, and processing of unstructured or semi-structured documents. The SDK enables developers and service providers to enhance their applications with a toolkit for digitizing scanned data.
         ABBYY FlexiCapture Engine 8.0 was awarded Recognition/Data Capture Product of the Year, receiving the majority of votes. The second place went to AnyDoc Software – OCR for AnyDoc.
