There are many uses of OCR software. Let us list down all the things that OCR software can do.
1.) Read documents or photos and convert them into documents that can be edited.
2.) Read tests and surveys then return the summary.
3.) Read musical pieces and produce music.
4.) Read business cards and store in phone book.
5.) Read number plates of vehicles.
6.) Read handwriting and convert them into documents that can be edited in the computer.
7.) Read words and pronounce it aloud.
These are all the things that I have read in this forum. What other uses can we add that an OCR can do?
Great job, worker. Thanks for listing it. I was not aware that OCR software has so many capabilities. About the OCR reading words and pronouncing it aloud, has the software reached this level or it's only its potential capability?
I think that as the years go on it will be the same as any other tech, its just going to get bigger and better. There are endless possibilities to almost everything (if you think of how far we have come so far). Why would we stop advancing now?
