ABBYY has announced that its TouchTo data capture software for LCD-based touchscreen technology has now been integrated into the Fujitsu fi-6010N iScanner. TouchTo allows users to route fields in documents from a network scanner to backend DM, ECM, and ERP systems.
“TouchTo will dramatically improve the workflow process for businesses and positively impact the bottom line,” said Scott Thompson, senior product marketing manager at ABBYY USA. “TouchTo combines ABBYY's vast experience in data capture technology and Fujitsu's market leading hardware, providing an affordable, easy-to-use and accessible solution to automate document processing.” The combination of TouchTo and the Fujitsu touchscreen system improves the document management process by making it easier and quicker to get fields from scanned documents into backend systems. Users can use the solution to capture paper documents and data fields included in them directly into archive, document management or accounting systems. “With Abbyy's OCR technology integrated with the fi-6010N network scanner, single and multi-page documents and invoices can be scanned directly into accounting software, with the metadata being auto populated into the appropriate database or systems,” said Doug Rudolph, vice president of product management and business development, Fujitsu Computer Products of America. “The solution requires minimal end user training and provides the ease of use operation that our customers are requesting as they look to expand their capture deployment.” Additional information about the product is available at http://www.abbyy.com.
