I.R.I.S., a company specializing in Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR), Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Optimized IT Infrastructure (ICT), has announced the upcoming release of its OCR software Readiris™ 12 for Mac. The solution is developed in two different versions:
Readiris™ 12 Pro for Mac is a product that boosts productivity of scanners and digital cameras. It can process scanned documents and image files and converts PDF files into editable text. As iHQC is integrated within Readiris for Mac, users can create colored PDF files up to 200 times smaller than the original image.
Readiris™ 12 Corporate for Mac is intended for professional users and small businesses. The solution is designed for converting large batches of documents. It supports high-end scanners, MFPs as well as digital copiers. Readiris™ 12 Corporate for Mac generates PDF and PDF/A files with full text search capabilities, helping businesses to supply their Electronic Document Management systems with multi-format archives with optimized size. The final colored PDF files are up to 200 times smaller than the original image.
Pierre De Muelenaere, President & CEO of I.R.I.S. Group, said: “We are particularly thrilled to introduce the two brand-new versions of our flagship OCR software for the Mac World.
