Feeding America, the hunger-relief organization, has chosen as its desktop PDF software Nuance PDF Converter Professional 6. The organization will deploy the solution as part of its technology project for office staff and food banks. Another part of the project is the deployment of Microsoft Windows 7. PDF Converter is integrated with MS Office and SharePoint. It enhances the save-as PDF capabilities and will allow Feeding America to save documents to SharePoint.
Feeding America has been using the PDF technology to minimize the need of document printing through the distribution of PDF files via email. The organization also distributes MS Excel and PowerPoint documents as PDF files.
