Nuance introduced Dragon SpeechPack for Designers, which is a Dragon NaturallySpeaking suite for graphical design. Repetitive tasks are performed with voice commands so that designers can work faster and more efficiently.

Using Dragon SpeechPack for Designers, customers can work with different design packages, including Adobe InDesign; Adobe Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator; Adobe Dreamweaver; Fireworks; Contribute; After Effects; Premiere Pro, Quark Express, Corel Draw, and Corel Photo Paint. “For those working in design, being able to simply speak commands or quickly navigate through various repetitive program elements frees their minds and lets them keep their hands focused on the design process, which translates to substantial time savings,” said Peter Mahoney, senior vice president and general manager for Dragon, Nuance Communications. “And for many people, creative ideas often vanish as quickly as they come; Dragon truly allows us to keep up with the speed of our ideas.”

With Dragon SpeechPack for Designers users can launch applications, create documents, open files, or manage email by voice. Designers may use the computer mouse for design or selection functions and at the same time use voice commands in order to selects tools, filters and commands.

Dragon SpeechPack for Designers is compatible with many Windows-based applications, including Word and Internet Explorer. For additional information please visit http://www.nuance.com/naturallyspeaking/products/bundles/speech-pack-for-designers.asp.
