Nuance Communications announced that its embedded speech solution for device command and control Nuance VSuite, is now shipping on Dell Mini 3i smart phone from China Mobile, and the Dell Mini 3iX from Claro. With Nuance VSuite users can dial contacts and numbers more easily, as well as search a number of applications using their voice.

The Mini 3 Android smart phone by Dell will be enhanced with Nuance VSuite’s to deploy voice command which allows for even easier placing of calls and accessing various applications and services such as the calendar, games, music player, etc. Its users can also check their voicemail or initiate a text message using voice commands. “Voice capabilities are a key complement to our multi-touch experience, offering users a natural and intuitive way to access a variety of applications and features to get the most out of their device,” said Bill Gorden, Dell GM for Smart Phones. “We focus on creating partnerships that make the most of a customer’s mobile experience, on any network, and using any application.”
