Nuance Communications, Inc. has expanded the availability of its real-time solution for medical voice recognition, Dragon Medical, to French-speaking Canadian providers.

Dragon Medical 11 French will allow Canadian French-speaking clinicians to create medical notes by using their voice.

Dragon Medical 11 French was first released in 2010 in Europe. With voice recognition in real time, clinicians can capture a complete patient story very quickly. Dragon Medial is currently used by an estimated 25% of U.S. physicians, improving their productivity and performance and allowing them to focus on patient care instead of reporting.
