Nuance Communications, Inc. has announced that the Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search apps for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad have now been made available in Indonesia, supporting the Bahasa Indonesia language.
Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search enables people worldwide to easily dictate emails, SMS text messages, social media updates, and mobile Web searches up to five times faster than typing.
“Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search have already experienced great success across Asia and we’re thrilled to be expanding into Indonesia. In fact, this is the 28th country where the Dragon Apps have been launched, with the popularity of our Dragon Apps worldwide clearly demonstrating the intense consumer demand for voice-enabled interactions with their smartphones,” said Jason Stirling, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, Nuance Communications.
The Dragon Dictation app is iOS-5 compatible and features a pop-up toolbar with app icons which allow users to access SMS, email, Facebook and Twitter status bars, as well as the clipboard. The app also has an Auto Save function which keeps the dictated text when the users are interrupted by a phone call.
Dragon Search allows users to speak any search query to find information on the mobile Web. Dragon Search features Nuance’s Dragon Search Carousel that delivers search results across multiple channels (Google, Yahoo!, Twitter, iTunes, Wikipedia and YouTube). Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search are now available in the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Germany, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Australia, Denmark, Brazil, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
