How to Locate the Table Editing Tools
In ABBYY FineReader, the table editing tools do not show on the toolbar by default. To add these options to the toolbar, use the Customize Toolbars and Shortcuts dialog box.
How to Merge Table Cells
Select the tables which you would like to be merged with your mouse. From the Edit menu, click Merge Table Cells.
How to Split Table Cells
It is only possible to split table cells which have previously been merged. With the left button of the mouse click the cell to select it. From the Edit menu choose Split Table Cells.
How to Merge Table Rows
Using the mouse button, select the table rows which you would like to be merged. After that, select Merge Table Rows from the Edit menu.
How to Delete Cell Contents
Use the mouse to select the cell or group of cells and the contents which you would like to be deleted and click Delete.
